Did anyone else find it odd that Charlie's bike and tape player were left behind? I mean, if he was planning to leave or run away, wouldn't he have taken at least one of those with him? Especially for a teenager in the early '80s, those items were a big deal. The fact that they were left untouched suggests that something unexpected happened to him, don’t you think? It’s almost like he fully intended to come back. I've been following this case and I just can't shake the feeling that this detail might hold some significance. Could this imply that he expected to return shortly after visiting his ex? Maybe it points to the fact that leaving wasn’t a choice of his own. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I've been following the Charlie Hall case for a while now, and something has been bugging me. Does anyone think it's odd that Charlie left behind his tape player? Back in 1981, that was a big deal for a teenager. It feels significant to me because it suggests he didn’t plan on being away long. Isn't it possible that he intended to return home shortly, only to encounter something or someone that derailed those plans? Maybe there was an unplanned meeting with someone after he left his ex’s house that afternoon. It could be worth digging into the people in his life at that time who might have had an ulterior motive. Thoughts?
