I wanted to share something I've been pondering about Roy Dixon's case—specifically the timing of the gunshots and fire. It was around 2:30 a.m. when the deputies were first alerted to gunshots on Winton Road, shortly followed by the report of a fire. This overlapping timeline makes me wonder if the fire was intended as a cover-up or perhaps as a diversion from what had already happened to Roy. The brutality of the attack, the stabbing, and then potentially being run over suggest a personal vendetta or an intense motive. If the fire was meant to destroy evidence, could there be something significant about the vehicle that hasn't been considered yet? My heart truly goes out to Roy’s family and friends, living with so many unanswered questions for all these years. I really hope anyone with information finds the courage to come forward and help bring some closure to this haunting case. Every little detail might seem minor, but it could be the missing piece here.
I’ve been diving deep into Roy Dixon’s case recently, and one detail that really stands out to me is the location where he was found. West Point might seem like a quiet, close-knit community—I’ve driven through that area a couple of times—but the idea that someone could brutally murder Roy and disappear without a trace is baffling. The scene on Winton Road just seems like a spot where someone would have noticed something. It's frustrating to think there may be people out there who saw or heard something that night but just haven't come forward. This must be incredibly tough for his family to have no answers after all this time. I'm hoping that as more people discuss the case, someone might remember a crucial detail. If anyone here is from around there or knows someone who might have been in the vicinity back in '97, please encourage them to think back. Sometimes even the smallest memory can spark a lead. Let’s do what we can to help bring Roy's family some peace.
