Did anyone else find it odd that Reuben was carrying around so much cash that night? $2,000 is a lot for 1991, especially for a young guy like him. It makes me wonder if someone knew he had that money on him and saw it as an opportunity. It’s chilling to think about how easily word could have gotten out to the wrong person, especially in the drug scene. I'm curious if anyone from the Mallard Cove Apartments at the time recalls anything unusual happening around that evening. Did Reuben know anyone there, or was he dealing with strangers? It's such a vivid image—his red leather jacket and purple jeans. Hard to believe anyone wouldn't have noticed him.

Anyone else find it strange that there were no sightings of Reuben or his distinctive clothing after he vanished? A red leather jacket and purple jeans would stand out, right? Especially in a residential area like Mallard Cove. Given how recognizable his outfit was, I'm surprised nobody came forward with any info about seeing him that night or the following days. This makes me wonder if there was a swift effort to conceal what happened to him. Thoughts on how his bold attire could have played into the situation?

I came across Reuben's case recently, and something about his disappearance really stuck with me. I've been curious about the complex he was last seen at, the Mallard Cove Apartments. Does anyone know if that place had a reputation back in the early '90s? Was it known for any criminal activity or being a hotspot for drug deals? I imagine if it was a sketchy area, this could have been significant for investigators back then. Maybe someone who lived in Everett around that time might remember something about the area that could provide more context. It's just so strange that Reuben vanished without a trace after going there.
