Has anyone else looked into the possible connections between Steven's case and other disappearances in the area during the early '90s? I did a bit of digging and found that there were a couple of other missing persons cases in Missouri and Arkansas around the same timeframe. It's probably a long shot, but I can't help but wonder if there's any overlap in terms of locations or people involved. Given that Steven's car turned up in Fayetteville months after he vanished, it makes me think about the possibility of him being a victim of something bigger than just an isolated incident. Would love to hear if anyone else has thoughts on this or if I'm just overthinking it!

Has anyone come across any details about the motel where Steven Alyea's car was found? I'm curious about whether there were any security cameras back in 1992 that might've captured something. Even if the footage is long gone, it might help to know if the motel had a history of strange happenings or if there were any notable incidents around that time. Seems odd that his car sat there for a month without drawing attention. Also, did the motel staff notice anything unusual, or was it just a typical day for them? Any insights or thoughts on what might have happened there would be great!

I've been following Steven Alyea's case, and something that really stands out to me is the location where his car was found—Fayetteville, Arkansas. It's quite a distance from both Kansas City and Lamar, Missouri. It's puzzling why his car would end up abandoned in a motel parking lot so far away, especially since it was reported to have been there for over a month before it was discovered. Could he have traveled there himself, or did someone else drive it there after something happened to him? And why a month? It makes me wonder if there's any chance someone at the motel might have seen something unusual or noticed the car earlier before it caught the attention of the police. If anyone is familiar with the area or has any theories about why the car could have ended up there, I'd love to hear your thoughts. It's such an odd piece of the puzzle that might be crucial to understanding what actually happened.
