Does anyone else find it strange that Burt and Steven’s car was found so far from any common camping sites? The report says it was abandoned off Highway 395, which, from what I know, is quite a distance from both Yosemite and Forest Falls. I get that it was the '90s, and maybe GPS wasn’t a thing then, but wouldn’t you at least have a map or some directions if you’re heading out on a trip like this? It makes me wonder if they met up with someone or something unexpected happened along the way. Also, has there been any news about what was found in the car? Personal items, camping gear, anything stolen? It might give more clues about what actually went down. Thoughts?
