I was recently reading up on the Jesus Valdovinos case and found myself fascinated by the ferry ride timing. Something that caught my attention was how quiet the early morning hours must have been on that ferry from Seattle to Bremerton. Between 4:00 and 5:15 a.m., not a lot of people would typically be up, which makes me wonder about ferry security and surveillance back in 1998. Did they have any cameras, or was it all down to crew members and other passengers? Given that a crew member thought they saw someone resembling Jesus on the return trip, I wonder if anyone checked the onboard manifest or ticket logs to see if he’s listed—or if there’s a mysterious 'unaccounted passenger' who might hold some key to this? It feels like a long shot, but stranger things have happened in cold cases. Anyone else find this aspect of the timeline intriguing?
