Hey everyone, I’ve been following Frank Mazzella’s case and something odd struck me. It’s about his missing firearm. Considering that only one of his guns was missing from the apartment, shouldn’t investigators have focused more on tracing its serial number or seeing if it turned up somewhere? It just seems like such a peculiar detail. I know they usually do ballistics checks and whatnot in missing firearm situations – could it lead to anything? Maybe it ended up in the wrong hands or maybe even sold somewhere? It feels like a missed opportunity, especially since no new developments have surfaced over the years. Thoughts?
