It's been over a decade since Maurice Wright lost his life in such a senseless act of violence, and my heart goes out to his family and friends who have had to endure the pain of his absence all these years. I’m really curious about that particular stretch around Bentley Drive in the Hill District during 2008. Does anyone remember if there were any specific issues or tensions in that neighborhood at the time? It feels like we should be able to piece together some context that might have contributed to the tragedy. Violence was seemingly rampant back then, but surely someone must have seen or heard something. If any locals or long-time residents have insights about that area during that time, it could be invaluable to understanding more about what happened that night. Hey everyone, I just keep going back to the location where Maurice was found. Bentley Drive isn’t exactly a hidden area, and it makes me wonder if anyone heard anything that night. Saturday nights can be busy, with folks heading out or coming back from the Hill District. It’s hard to believe no one saw or heard something. Maybe someone was scared to come forward, or maybe they just shrugged it off as fireworks or something else. I truly hope that one day, someone who knows something finds the courage to share what they know. Maurice and his family deserve some peace. It's gut-wrenching thinking of them waiting for justice and answers this long. Keeping his loved ones in my thoughts. If anyone knows anything, even the tiniest detail, please speak up.
