Has anyone else looked into the wildlife angle of Michael Phillip Proctor's case? I find it interesting that he stayed in Houma after his injury because he was so drawn to the local swamps and wildlife. Given how vast and wild those areas are, could it be possible he ventured somewhere remote or off the beaten path and got into trouble there? I know it's been over 20 years, but there's something about his love for the outdoors that keeps pulling at me. Does anyone know if there were more detailed searches conducted in some of the less accessible swamp areas after he disappeared? Maybe he had a spot he liked that wasn't checked thoroughly. Just a thought—it’s so eerie how someone can just vanish without a trace, especially in such a wild and unpredictable environment.
