Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about Kosai Barouki and his tragic death that happened back in 2008. It breaks my heart to see how his case remains unsolved after all these years. What really gets to me is the impact on his family and friends, especially within Philadelphia's immigrant community, who continue to struggle with both emotional and economic challenges in the wake of his loss. There’s something about the resilience of small business owners like Kosai, who work long hours just to make ends meet, that makes such violence feel especially cruel. It’s tough to imagine the fear and tragedy that his family had to endure, knowing he was just doing his job, trying to support them, when his life was senselessly taken away. I’m really hoping that continuing to raise awareness about his case might eventually help bring some form of justice to his family.
