Has anyone else dug into the part about Timmy's car being found abandoned? I can't shake the feeling that the details don't totally add up. The Buick Skylark being found off Highway 177 is strange, right? It's like he was going completely out of his way. And then considering he was headed towards a houseboat near Park Moabi, you'd think that route wouldn't make much sense unless he was checking something specific out. His family said he was meticulous when it came to planning his trips. Could he have been meeting someone or checking on something away from his usual travel route? What could have been so pressing that it would pull him into the desert like that? I wonder if there are areas along the aqueduct that could explain him detouring out there. Has anyone heard about any other theories relating to why his car was found in such an odd spot?

Has anyone else found it puzzling how Timmy's car was discovered disabled just four miles off Highway 177, yet no trace of him was found nearby? It got me thinking about the condition of his Buick Skylark. I know it’s an older model, but what could’ve happened to leave it stranded like that? The fact that it was near some of his belongings makes me wonder if he might've encountered unforeseen mechanical issues. And it’s strange, given his experience as an outdoorsman, that he didn’t manage to make contact or leave more signs. Could it be possible that he set out on foot for help and something happened to him along the way? Just throwing thoughts out there, but it's odd that with his skills, he’d abandon both the car and campsite with so little to go on. Anyone else have thoughts on this or know more about the state of his vehicle?

Hey everyone, I just can't stop thinking about the location where Timmy Gene Thompson's car was found. It's so puzzling to me. I mean, why would his vehicle end up four miles off Highway 177, seemingly in the middle of nowhere? For someone with his level of outdoor experience, heading into such an isolated area without a backup plan seems strange. Could it be that he miscalculated a route in the desert, or was he trying to avoid something or someone on the main roads? The fact that his car was disabled adds another layer of mystery. Did he end up in a situation where he had to leave the highway as his only option? It's said he was planning for the trip along the Colorado Aqueduct. Maybe something went wrong earlier than expected. Anyone else have thoughts on what could have led him to that particular spot? Would love to hear your insights! Stay safe, [Username]
