Timmy Gene Thompson, 36 years old, was last seen on August 3, 2002, at his residence in Phelan, California. He had plans to embark on a three-day camping trip in the Salton Sea area and intended to travel along the Colorado Aqueduct to a houseboat he owned near the Colorado River, close to Park Moabi, southeast of Needles, California.
