I've been following Barbara Eleanor Hoover's case, and something that continues to puzzle me is the 1989 Pontiac Firebird she left behind. From what I've gathered, Barbara loved that car and rarely went anywhere without it. It just seems strange that she would leave it behind, especially if she was planning a long stay in California. I know people have speculated about why she didn't take it, but I'm curious if anyone has done any digging into the car itself. Was it in working condition at the time she disappeared? Did anyone notice anything unusual in or around it? Maybe something in or about the car could provide a clue as to what really happened to her. Has anyone heard of any updates or further investigations about the car? Just trying to connect the dots here.
