Margaret Dash, 38, was last seen June 14, 1974, in Clearwater, Florida. She left her home on Wildwood Street driving her daughter’s car to buy medicine for a sick relative and never returned; her husband reported her missing the next day. A white 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass belonging to her was recovered about a month later in a parking lot in St. Petersburg but Margaret was not found.
At the time she was reportedly involved in an extramarital affair with Cleveland Hill Jr., a former minister and asphalt contractor who had a prior conviction for shooting his wife and mother-in-law. Hill reportedly threatened to kill Margaret if she tried to end the relationship, but he was never formally charged in connection with her disappearance. His name was later linked in investigations to two other missing women, Retha Hiers and Donyelle Johnson, though no definitive connections were made.
Authorities suspect foul play and conducted searches and excavations decades after her disappearance, but no conclusive evidence has been found. Does anyone who knew Margaret or lived in Clearwater in 1974 have information about her movements that day or about the Cutlass being seen after June 14?
