I've been digging through some old newspaper archives and found an interesting detail about the night Linda Sue Davis went missing. Apparently, there was a significant disturbance reported at Don's Club around the time she was last seen. Several patrons mentioned seeing an altercation involving a man who resembled the unidentified male she was last seen with. It's odd that there hasn't been more focus on this detail, considering how crucial it could be. Did anyone else come across this info, or is there anyone who can provide more context? Considering she was supposed to testify against Sanders, it seems like people around her might have known something was up, especially if she expressed concerns about being followed. I wonder if there are any surviving witnesses from that night who might still have untapped information. It's been so long, but maybe someone out there remembers something more that could help crack this case open.

Hi everyone, I've been following the Linda Sue Davis case, and there's something that stands out to me about the unidentified man she was last seen with at Don's Club. I can't help but wonder who he was and why his identity has never been confirmed. Given the technology and resources we have today, couldn't there be a way to find someone who might recall seeing them together that night? Maybe someone who frequented Don's Club back in '76 or has recently recalled something significant? Small towns have long memories, and it's intriguing that this part of the puzzle hasn't been solved yet. Any thoughts or theories on who this mysterious companion might have been or how we could bring more attention to this angle of the investigation?

Does anyone else find the timing of Linda Sue Davis’s scheduled testimony in the criminal case against Roland Corky Sanders to be suspect in her disappearance? Not saying it’s directly connected, but the fact that she was going to testify against him and then vanished under such violent circumstances is more than a little concerning to me. If I remember correctly, cases like this where a key witness suddenly goes missing can sometimes point to intimidation tactics, don't you think? Maybe there's more to Sanders' case than meets the eye. It also makes me wonder why there wasn't more protection or at least follow-up on this angle given the stakes. Thoughts?
