Does anyone else find the timing of Maria's supposed sightings a bit curious? If she did take off voluntarily, you'd think she'd try to duck under the radar. Yet, she was reportedly seen around town at places like Duchess Restaurant. I'm haunted by the fact these sightings happened not long after her disappearance, which could mean she was still close by initially. It's almost as if she was trying to send a signal or leave a clue for someone to find her. Anyone else have thoughts on whether this points to her possibly looking for help or being in distress? I know all leads turned cold, but revisiting these sightings makes you wonder if there was something more to them.
Has anyone else looked into the timing of the abandoned bike in Maria Anjiras' disappearance? I find it odd that her blue English racing bike was discovered only about a mile from her home. A bike like that can cover a lot more distance quickly. Was there ever any mention of tire tracks or anything near where it was found that might suggest she made it that far on her own? Or, could it have been dropped off there by someone else to throw off the investigators? Considering the bike's proximity to her house, it feels like this could be a small but potentially crucial detail in understanding what might have happened that day. If anyone has any more info or theories on this, I'd love to hear your thoughts. It's just frustrating how small details can be overlooked when they might add a piece to the puzzle.
