Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Don Ly’s murder and keep thinking about the impact on his family, especially his son, Hoanh. It saddens me to imagine having to carry on with the fruit cart under such devastating circumstances. Hoanh not only has to fill his father’s shoes, but also face the place that serves as a constant reminder of the tragedy every single day. I really feel for him and the entire Ly family. The community seems to have truly cherished Don and it's just incredibly unfair that they’ve lost such a valued member so abruptly. I wonder if there's been any community support set up for them yet? I know they need justice, but emotional and financial support could make a big difference right now. Does anyone have any updates or know how we might help the Ly family during this tough time?

I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge how incredibly resilient Don Ly’s son, Hoanh, must be. I can’t even begin to imagine the weight he carries every day, not only stepping into his father's shoes to run the fruit cart but also dealing with the overwhelming grief of such a brutal loss. It’s so inspiring to see him maintain the spirit of the business his father lovingly built over the years. Running a family business is hard enough on its own, let alone under these circumstances. From what I’ve read, the fruit cart wasn’t just a job for Don, but a true connection to the community. I hope Hoanh feels the support from all the people whose lives his father touched. I also hope that with the ongoing investigation, there will be answers soon for him and his family. They deserve closure and justice for what happened. If anyone reading this has any insight or information about the case, please consider reaching out to the authorities. Every little bit could help.
