Did anyone read about the connection between Oakley's veterinary background and the supposed injection method he used? It's chilling to think that someone with that kind of knowledge could exploit it in such a sinister way. I wonder if investigators looked into more cases of missing kids in areas Oakley lived or worked. Given his pattern of violent behavior, there could be more that we don't know about. I came across an old newspaper article that mentioned a similar case in a nearby town, but it didn't mention any follow-up. Just makes me think there could be other victims out there. Thoughts?

Has anyone else noticed the eerie pattern in Oakley's past crimes? It seems like he had a disturbing fixation with targeting young girls around the area, especially near places where children felt comfortable and safe. The fact that Ann's bike was left near a busy mall makes me wonder if Oakley was lurking there, watching. Malls are such public places, you'd think someone would have seen something. It's chilling to think about how someone could operate in broad daylight. I wonder if any witnesses are still out there who saw something suspicious but didn’t come forward back then. It's cases like this that make me question how many other predators might have used similar tactics. What do you all think? Could there be other victims linked to Oakley that we don't know about?

Has anyone ever looked into the broader context of Bashford Manor Mall back in '83? I've read a lot about Ann Gotlib's disappearance and how her bike was found there, but I'm curious about the mall's history around that time. Was it known for any kind of criminal activity or did it have a reputation that might have made it a target area for someone like Oakley? It seems such a public, open space would have witnesses or at least some security presence. Also, with all the stores and shoppers, you’d think there’d be more leads. Maybe there are still folks out there with memories of that day who haven't come forward. What do y'all think?
