Ann Gotlib, a 12-year-old Soviet Jewish immigrant, disappeared on June 1, 1983, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was last seen riding her red and white bicycle near Bashford Manor Mall between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., close to her family’s home. Her bicycle was found near a department store in the mall, but Ann was never seen again. Despite a massive search effort, her case remained unsolved for many years.
