In the spring of 2014, concern grew among the friends of Shelly Renee Strode, a 31-year-old woman from Louisville, Kentucky. Friends realized they had not seen or heard from Shelly, and after some time had passed without any contact, they reported her missing on April 3, 2014. At the time she was last seen, the details of her clothing were unknown, and it was unclear what her possible destination might have been.
