I was going through some articles and noticed something odd regarding Tracy's disappearance timeline. If she was seen on Van Brunt Blvd heading back to her parents' house around 6 p.m., how much time do you think she realistically had before anything could have happened to her? Van Brunt is not too far from E. 9th Street, so it makes me wonder if someone familiar with her routine might have been waiting along her usual path. The details about her carrying a red cigarette case have always stood out to me — perhaps someone could have used that as a pretext to approach her? There were a lot of sketchy things happening in Kansas City back then, and it feels like someone might have taken advantage of her routine. Also, have there been any developments about her friends or neighbors from that period coming forward with more information? Just thinking about all the angles, and hoping someday her family gets answers.
