It's been almost a decade since Qhahdir Devine lost his life, and I still can't stop thinking about how an innocent young man was taken from his community under such tragic circumstances. New Year's Eve is supposed to be a time of celebration and hope, yet for Devine's family and friends, it turned into a lasting nightmare. It breaks my heart to think about the pain his loved ones must still be feeling, especially with no answers in sight. What bothers me is that this happened in a public place. It's shocking that nobody has come forward with information that could lead to an arrest. How is it that in a bustling area like North Philly, with a murder happening outside a doughnut shop of all places, we still have no leads? I urge anyone who might have been there that night or who knows something to speak up. Even the smallest detail could help. Devine and his family deserve justice. Can the PPD do more, or is there anything the community can do to push this case forward?
