Did anyone else notice that after Corey's murder, security measures around bars in Homewood seemed to tighten up quite a bit? I wasn't even aware of Cliff's Bar until I read about this tragedy, but it seems like a lot of places started checking IDs more rigorously and even installed additional surveillance cameras. It's so sad that it takes a devastating event like this to prompt changes that should have been in place beforehand. Just thinking about how Corey's family might find some small solace if these steps prevent other senseless acts is important as we discuss these cases. I hope wherever he is, Corey's looking down and seeing people doing their best to ensure each person's night out ends safely. What are your thoughts on the community's response?
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the tragedy at Cliff's Bar & Grill where Corey Clark lost his life. It's really unsettling how incidents like these shatter not only the lives of the victim and their loved ones but also leave a mark on the entire community. I can't imagine what Corey's family and friends are going through right now. It's even more troubling to hear about how 2014 was such a violent year in Pittsburgh. It makes me wonder about what safety measures, if any, have been implemented since then, especially in public places like bars and clubs. Have there been any noticeable changes in the community or law enforcement's approach to prevent these awful events? Hoping for justice for Corey and peace for everyone affected. Stay safe out there!
