Does anyone else find it odd that Edyth left behind her car when she supposedly planned to stay with a friend temporarily? Why wouldn't she need transportation, especially with Nicholas? It just doesn't add up to me. Even if they were only intending to stay for a short while, you'd think she'd want mobility, particularly with a young child. Plus, it's not like Las Cruces had a ton of public transportation options in the early '90s. Could it be that she wasn't the one who left it behind, and someone else was involved from the very beginning? This case just has so many layers to it, and I can't shake the feeling that something sinister happened early on. Would love to hear what others think about this aspect of the case.

I've been digging into Nicholas and Edyth's case, and something that really stands out to me is the fact that Edyth left her car behind. It seems really odd, right? If she planned on staying with a friend temporarily, wouldn't having a car be crucial, especially being a mom with a young kid? It's almost like she intended to come back or something unexpected happened that prevented her from using it. Or maybe it was staged to look like she left willingly? It just adds another layer of mystery to this already perplexing case. If anyone has more insight into this aspect, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I was just reading through the details of Nicholas Vincent Smith's case and something caught my attention that I haven’t seen discussed much—why leave the car behind? If Edyth was planning on going somewhere even temporarily, wouldn’t she want the convenience of having her own vehicle, especially with a young child in tow? Seems odd to me. Maybe her plans were disrupted somehow. Also, why leave Andrew behind? Everything points to Edyth being a caring mother, so it just doesn’t add up. Maybe she felt whatever situation they were facing couldn’t involve him, but that raises more questions than answers. I wonder if there was something urgent or someone who suddenly showed up that made her change plans. It's these little details that sometimes hold the key to unlocking more about what happened. Did anyone else find it strange about the car?
