I was doing some digging into Consuelo "Connie" Vannausdle's case, and there's something that's been bothering me. Does anyone else find it odd that there was such a long gap before she was reported missing? I get that Mark didn't report her disappearance, which is suspicious on its own, but it seems like a huge red flag that none of their mutual friends or local acquaintances thought to alert the authorities sooner. I read that she was in touch regularly with her family in California and the Philippines, so it feels strange that nobody pressed the issue for so long, even if she seemingly just "walked away." Could it be that everyone was just too scared or hesitant, given the domestic violence reports? And with Mark's criminal dealings, it's scary to think how intimidating the atmosphere in that household might have been. Anyone here have similar thoughts or more info?
Does anyone else find it odd that Consuelo's husband didn't report her missing immediately? I mean, we're talking about a mother of two who just vanished, and yet he waited months before anyone even knew she was gone. It was her sister who finally took action. This delay just doesn't sit right with me. Plus, considering there were allegations of domestic violence in the home, you'd think any reasonable person would be even more concerned about her sudden disappearance. There has to be more to this story that hasn't been uncovered yet, especially since Mark was later convicted of other crimes. I wonder if these convictions might somehow connect back to Consuelo’s case. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
Has anyone else been wondering about the timeline gaps in Consuelo's case? Her family hadn't heard from her for months before they reported her missing in July. That's a significant amount of time unaccounted for, and it just seems odd that her husband didn't report her disappearance immediately, especially given their kids. Also, what was happening between that time and when her sister finally sounded the alarm? Was anyone else in the community aware she was missing? Neighbors or friends, maybe? Just seeing this makes me wonder if there might be more witnesses or details that haven't surfaced yet.
