Hi everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Tajour Embry and Shaquille Maynor, and I can't stop thinking about the role of technology like ShotSpotter in this investigation. It's incredible how tools like these can alert police to gunfire almost immediately, potentially saving lives. But it’s also frustrating to think that despite such advanced systems, these murders in Homewood North remain unsolved nearly eight years later. It makes me wonder about the challenges law enforcement is facing in piecing together what happened that night. Are there gaps in the technology, or is it more about gathering witness testimonies and community intel? I feel for the families and community still waiting for answers and justice. If anyone knows how ShotSpotter data has been used effectively in other cases, it might shed some light on what's missing here.
Wishing peace and strength to the loved ones of Tajour and Shaquille.
Take care,

Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the use of technology in cases like Tajour Embry's and Shaquille Maynor's. It's really alarming to see how tools like ShotSpotter, which detected the gunfire that night, bring immediate attention to incidents, yet so much still remains unresolved. It's frustrating knowing that even with such advanced detection systems, there haven't been any leads or arrests.
Does anyone else feel like there must be crucial info missing from what's publicly known? Or maybe technology can only take us so far without community cooperation. I really hope those with any knowledge come forward, not just for the sake of justice but to also bring some peace to the families who must be aching for answers.
Let's keep Tajour and Shaquille in our thoughts and continue to push for a resolution. Maybe together, as a community, we can help bring some light to this case.
Stay safe, everyone. ?️
