Just came across Joyce Crider's case again and felt the need to bring up something that has been bothering me. Remember those theories about her possibly leaving on her own? I'm not really buying it. From everything I've read and heard, Joyce was super connected to her friends and family—doesn't seem like someone who'd just up and leave without a word. Plus, the fact that it was so out of character for her to miss planned outings without letting someone know is suspicious to me. It feels more likely something unexpected happened to her. I know it's been over 20 years, but the lack of evidence is so frustrating. It just doesn't add up that someone can vanish that completely without leaving a trace. Makes me wonder if there are details that maybe were overlooked in those early days of the investigation. Has anyone else picked up on anything that might have been missed over time? It's so hard to find new info on cases that have gone cold, but talking about them is a step, I guess. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
