Diane Thomas Scott, a 39-year-old woman from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, was last seen on May 5, 2001. On that morning, she dropped one of her children off at school but failed to return to pick them up later that day. Despite this unusual behavior, she was not reported missing until May 24. Scott, a well-known civic figure and a dedicated member of her church, had no apparent reasons to leave her life behind, making her disappearance all the more troubling.
