Does anyone have info on the weather conditions around the time Jedediah Jack Cross went missing? I've been researching maritime accidents, and weather patterns can make a huge difference, especially for solo sailors. March can be pretty unpredictable off the California coast, so I'm wondering if there were any freak storms or heavy winds reported in that area near Santa Barbara around March 13, 2004. It's intriguing how even experienced sailors can be caught off guard by sudden weather changes. Any insights or leads on the weather reports back then would be greatly appreciated! ?⛵️
Wow, I’m really intrigued by the details of the Jedediah Jack Cross case! I was just thinking about how unusual it is for someone from Boise to take on a solo sailing trip down the California coast.
