Hello everyone, I've been reading through the threads about Victor Smith's case and can't stop thinking about his family. It must be incredibly painful for them to have gone so many years without answers. One aspect of this case that really strikes me is the stolen semi-truck. How did Victor get involved with that? Was there a bigger network at play, or was it just opportunistic? It seems like there could be multiple people involved, maybe even crossing state lines, considering he was originally from Spokane. Have there been any similar cases that could be connected? Hoping that someone out there knows more and is brave enough to come forward. Every bit of information can make a difference. Take care, D.

Hello everyone, I've been following Victor Smith's tragic case recently, and something I've been thinking about is the eerie location of his discovery. The Columbia Slough area, from what I've read, has a bit of a reputation for being deserted at odd hours, especially back in the mid-80s. It's puzzling how a bustling city like Portland could have such isolated spots that make it easy for something so awful to happen unnoticed. It makes you wonder why Victor and this other unidentified man ended up there of all places. Was it just bad luck, or was there something about that spot that drew them? Perhaps it was a known location for shady dealings, considering Victor's background. I feel for Victor's family, having to go on for so many years without answers. Surely, someone knows something more about what happened that night. Does anyone from the Portland area recall if that location was known for anything specific back then? Maybe someone out there has a memory that could help piece together this puzzle. Let's keep discussing and sharing info to help bring justice for Victor and his loved ones. Stay safe and take care.

Does anyone else think it's strange that Victor's partner that night has never come forward or been identified? You'd think someone would remember a guy he was last seen with. It's been so many years, and I can't help but feel for Victor's family, never getting those answers. It just doesn't seem right that someone out there knows what happened and hasn't spoken up. If anyone's reading and has info, even the smallest detail, it could make such a difference. This case has sat unsolved for too long, and Victor deserves justice.
