I was browsing some old unsolved cases and came across Daniel Ruiz's case. I was struck by the fact that he was last seen by friends just a couple of days before his murder. It made me wonder about those days leading up to his death. Did anyone notice any changes in his behavior or did he mention feeling uneasy or anxious about anything?
Also, considering his struggle with heroin, do you think his addiction played a part in his murder? I can't help but feel for his loved ones. It must be incredibly difficult to live with so many unanswered questions for decades.
If there are people out there with information, even if they think it's insignificant, I hope they find the courage to come forward. Every little detail could be the key to unraveling this mystery and bringing some comfort to his family and friends.
Hey everyone, I recently came across the Daniel Ruiz case from '87 and was struck by a detail that hasn't been talked about much here. It seems like his apartment on SE 32nd Avenue might hold some clues. Given that he was a known heroin user, I wonder if someone familiar with the drug scene back then might have information or heard something unusual about what went down in that building. It's haunting to think that someone out there might know something. Maybe they were at a party or met someone who bragged or confessed?
