I’ve been following Jose Ortiz’s case for years, and something that's always stuck with me is why his disappearance wasn’t reported until January 1st. I mean, that’s four whole days after he was last seen! I know holiday seasons can be hectic, but it feels like a crucial window might have been lost there. I wonder if maybe someone saw something but didn’t think it was connected or important at the time. This aspect still feels a bit off to me. Has anyone here dug into why the time gap happened? Maybe if we can understand that, it might shed some light on his connection (or lack thereof) to the alleged drug activity. Any thoughts?
Has anyone else heard about the odd timing of Jose Ortiz's disappearance report? It's really strange that it took until January 1st for it to be filed, especially when the abduction was witnessed. I know it was the holidays, but wouldn't someone have raised the alarm sooner? Maybe his family thought he was just staying with friends, but with witnesses seeing him forced into a car, it seems like there should have been more urgency. It makes me wonder if there's more to the delay or if certain details were initially overlooked. Thoughts?
Has anyone else been thinking about the missing persons cases around New Haven, especially Jose Ortiz? I've been reading about him recently and something really stands out to me. It's been said that there were three young individuals involved in his alleged abduction. Their age range, between 15 and 21, seems pretty specific, which kind of makes me wonder if they were known to Ortiz somehow. Could they have been peers or acquaintances? It feels like such a targeted action for it to be random, especially in broad daylight. Anyone else have thoughts on this aspect? It’d be interesting to hear if locals remember anything else about that day. Sometimes little details can lead to breakthroughs in such unsolved cases.
