This is such an odd case. I wonder if the mystery will ever be solved. I hope so. Sad that someone can just vanish and never be heard from again.

Was anyone else struck by the entire mystery surrounding Ronald Tammen's visit to the doctor for a blood test before he vanished? It's such an odd detail, and I can't help but wonder if it holds a clue to his disappearance. Why would a healthy college student randomly request a blood test? Back in 1953, it wasn’t exactly a routine thing unless there was a specific reason. Could it have anything to do with his courses or a personal health concern, or is it tied to one of those theories about government programs? Perhaps an undisclosed medical condition or even experimenting with something that made him paranoid enough to seek a test? It feels like a piece of the puzzle that's never quite fit, but maybe it’s more important than it appears. Anyone have thoughts on what might have prompted this?
