It’s so sad to think about how little progress has been made in finding justice for Yarkin S. Harley all these years later. I was reading up on his case and was stunned by the fact that it happened on his 72nd birthday. Can you imagine a day meant for celebration turning into such a nightmare? It’s just unimaginable for his family, who must still be hoping for answers.
I’m really curious about the neighborhood and circumstances surrounding that night on East Archer Street. Was it a secluded area back then, or were there folks around who might have seen or heard something? Sometimes revisiting the scene and circumstances in detail can spark new memories or ideas, especially for those who might have been nearby. It’s been decades, but every little detail could count in cases like this. Sending thoughts to his loved ones and hoping there's some break in the case soon.
It’s so distressing to think about how one of our veterans, Yarkin S. Harley, fell victim to such a violent act, especially on his birthday. I’ve been diving through the details of Harley’s life and can’t help but continually reflect on his wartime service and his contributions to his community. He gave so much to his country and kin, only to have his life taken in such a senseless manner.
I wonder if there is a possibility that someone stumbled upon Harley on Archer Street that night? It could be that a passerby saw or heard something without realizing the significance at the time. It seems unlikely that such a brutal crime could go unnoticed in a public area.
I hope anyone who might have been in the vicinity, or has even the slightest recollection of that night, will reach out to the Tulsa authorities. Harley’s legacy deserves closure, and his family and community deserve answers. It’s never too late for justice, and maybe, just maybe, someone’s memory from that night could crack this case open.
