I’ve been thinking a lot about the role that community could play in helping solve Levi Lovell's tragic murder. It's truly saddening to think of Mr. Lovell, a 91-year-old man, attacked in the place where he should have felt safest. I wonder if anyone who lived in the area back then might remember something odd or significant about that time. Even seemingly small details can sometimes be the key that investigators need. It’s been so long, but I believe with teamwork and vigilance, there could still be hope of unveiling the truth behind this senseless crime. Let's not forget there's a family still yearning for answers. If anyone has old ties to that neighborhood or knows someone who might, please consider coming forward. Every little bit helps in cases like these.

I’ve been reading through some of the discussions about Levi Lovell and couldn’t stop thinking about the forced entry aspect. From what I've gathered, it seems like Levi was possibly targeted for a robbery, which makes me wonder about the level of security or visible deterrents at his apartment complex back in 1986. Did Levi's place have any security measures that could have caught the attention of potential intruders? Or was it more about the perception that an elderly man living alone might be an easier target?
I'm hoping maybe someone with knowledge of the area at the time or similar cases could chime in on what security was typically like in that neighborhood. Also, for anyone who's familiar with Tulsa during that period, was this type of crime common in that region?
Thinking about Levi’s tragic end just reminds me how crucial community awareness and preventative measures are in protecting those who might be more vulnerable.
