Hey everyone, I've been looking into the Kam Yan case and stumbled upon something that's really stuck with me. Yan was with a family member when this horrible event unfolded, and I can't imagine the trauma they went through witnessing such a tragedy. It's unsettling knowing that this case, along with other random shootings in 2007, still hasn't been solved. What gets me thinking is how these attacks appeared so random. Could it have been someone with a grudge against the community or something even more complex we haven't considered? It's sad to see how the city has changed since those days, and I really hope that someday answers will come for Yan's family. Anyone else have thoughts on why this case has been so challenging to solve, or what could possibly have been the motive? It just feels like there's more to uncover here. Hoping for justice for Kam Yan and peace for his family.

I've been reading through the old case files on the tragic murder of Kam Yan back in 2007, and one aspect that's puzzled many of us true crime enthusiasts is the randomness of it all. It's haunting to think that Mr. Yan was just enjoying a walk in Japantown with a loved one when his life was taken so abruptly. What strikes me most is the lack of any apparent motive. Why was he targeted in such a seemingly random act of violence? Given that there were multiple similar shootings around that time, I can’t help but wonder if there's someone out there with knowledge about a potential link between these incidents. It's deeply unsettling that, despite thorough investigations, the perpetrator was never caught. My thoughts are with Mr. Yan’s family, who remain without answers more than a decade later. Does anyone have any theories about the pattern of seemingly random targets in these cases from that year?

I came across Kam Yan's case recently, and it's been on my mind a lot. It’s so unsettling to think that someone could be targeted so randomly, especially in a place like Japantown, which is usually so lively and peaceful. I can’t imagine the pain his family must have gone through, especially knowing that there’s no clear motive or answers, even after all this time. It’s frustrating that no suspect has been identified—it feels like there’s a missing piece of the puzzle that might never be found. I hope someday there's a breakthrough, not just for Kam Yan’s family, but for all the victims of that year’s senseless violence. Has anyone come across any recent discussions or updates on the case? I’d love to hear what others think might be the reasons behind these random attacks.
