Has anyone else looked into the letter supposedly sent by Rachel? I find it super strange that it was addressed to her husband, Thomas, in such a formal way. I mean, would a 17-year-old really write like that to her own husband? Plus, if they planned to go to Houston, why lock the car with all the Christmas gifts inside? Something just doesn't add up. It feels like whoever wrote that letter wanted to buy time or mislead everyone. I'm curious about how much was investigated around that letter's origin and if any forensic handwriting analysis has ever been done? If anyone has any insights or info on this, I'd really love to hear your thoughts!
Just came across this case while doing some research, and I can't stop thinking about the letter supposedly from Rachel. Has anyone else wondered why it was addressed to her husband, Thomas, in such a formal way when she reportedly never referred to him like that? It just seems so out of character, especially for a 17-year-old writing casually to someone she knows so well. Could this be an indication of someone trying to stage her disappearance to make it look like she left willingly? It's also strange how specific the letter's mention of Houston was—seems like way too much detail for something concocted. Makes me wonder if there was some connection there that investigators might have missed or dismissed too quickly. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
I’ve been deep diving into the Fort Worth Missing Trio case, and something that stands out to me is the letter that Rachel’s family received the day after they vanished. I’ve read that it was supposedly from Rachel and mentioned they went to Houston and would be back in a week. What’s odd is the handwriting and how she referred to her husband, Thomas, so formally—almost like someone else could have written it. It gives off a sense of being staged or forced. I can't help but wonder if it was a tactic to buy time and mislead the search efforts. Has anyone else thought there might be more to uncover just from analyzing this letter? Could it hold a clue that’s been overlooked all these years? Definitely worth more scrutiny, in my opinion. What do you guys think?
