Anyone else find it odd that Patricia's car was left at Hartsfield Airport with all her belongings still inside? I've been following this case for a while, and I can't wrap my head around why someone would just leave their car like that, especially with something as significant as a wedding ring left behind. It seems more like a staged scene to me. If she truly intended to leave on her own, wouldn’t she have taken at least some of her personal items? Also, airports have so much foot traffic; did nobody see anything unusual? Maybe security footage wasn't as readily available back in '77, but I'm curious if there was any attempt to see if witnesses saw anything suspicious. Thoughts?
I've been following Patricia Faulkner's case for a while now, and something that puzzles me is the discovery of her car at Hartsfield International Airport. If she left in a hurry, why were her essential belongings like clothes, money, and even her wedding ring left behind in the car? It just doesn't add up. I mean, wouldn't someone planning to disappear take at least some personal items with them? Also, it’s strange that the car was found two weeks later—did it sit unnoticed for that long at a busy airport parking lot? I wonder if they ever checked airport surveillance footage from back then, or was it even available in 1977? The fact that there was no concrete evidence to charge anyone, despite the reopened investigation in 1990, is really baffling. It’s frustrating there are still so many loose ends. What are your thoughts on the significance of the car being at the airport?
I've been thinking about that argument Patricia and Wayne had the night she disappeared. It seems like such a crucial moment in the whole case. It's so odd to me that her daughter overheard the argument, but nobody knows what it was actually about. Could it be that the argument was related to the divorce papers, or was there something else going on between them? Also, if Patricia really did leave suddenly, why was Wayne so relaxed about not reporting her missing for three days? It's hard to understand his mindset during that time. Plus, Patricia leaving behind all her personal belongings like her wedding ring and credit cards doesn't add up for someone who supposedly decided to vanish on her own. There are way too many unanswered questions here, and it's like the truth is trapped in that argument. Has anyone come across more information about what the topic of their argument might've been? It just feels like uncovering that detail could shed some light on what really happened to Patricia.
