Patricia Alice Faulkner, a 35-year-old mother of two, was last seen on October 9, 1977, at her home in Marietta, Georgia. She had been separated from her husband, Richard "Wayne" Faulkner, who came to her house that day to sign divorce papers. That night, the couple's daughter overheard an argument between them before hearing a door slam.
