Before she went missing, she confided in her mother that she had borrowed $30,000 from a man who had subsequently chased her with a car and threatened her life. Marcie is described as a Black female with black hair and brown eyes, standing at 5'8' and weighing around 140 pounds. She has several distinctive tattoos, including a Chinese symbol on the back of her neck, another Chinese symbol on her mid to lower back, and the name 'Carl' on her upper left breast. At the time of her disappearance, she may have been wearing a silver necklace, silver stud earrings, and silver sunglasses. There have been suggestions that she may have traveled to the New York area after she went missing, but this has not been confirmed. The Cobb County Police Department is the investigating agency for her case. Marcie's case remains unsolved, leaving her family, including her five children, without answers for over two decades.
