Cynthia Campbell Woolard, 21, was last seen February 1, 1979, in North Fort Myers after leaving a bar in Cape Coral. She disappeared under suspicious circumstances and never returned home on Pine Island; her paycheck and purse were left behind. Cynthia was studying to become a nurse and reportedly was having marital problems and had been in an argument with her husband, Roger, shortly before she vanished.

She had lasting injuries from a prior car accident: a left leg shorter than her right that required a special shoe with a built-up sole, plus surgical scars on her left femur and arm. Despite extensive searches and ongoing investigation by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, no trace of Cynthia has been found and the case remains unsolved.

If anyone knew Cynthia’s movements that night, saw her after she left the bar, or has other information that could help bring answers, please come forward.
