Has anyone else come across stories of people stopping at places briefly before vanishing? I find it intriguing that Randall Dean Leach worked at a dairy farm in Idaho Falls for a short time before disappearing. Could his time there hold any clues? It seems unlikely that he’d form any deep connections in such a brief period, but you never know who he might’ve encountered. I’m curious about what he was like during that time and whether anyone there noticed anything unusual. Sometimes small details can open new angles in a cold case. Would love to hear if anyone has insights into similar circumstances or theories about seemingly random stops in disappearance cases.

Hey everyone, I've been reading up on the Randall Dean Leach case and I found it intriguing how he briefly worked on a dairy farm in Idaho Falls before he vanished. There’s something about this aspect that really sticks out to me. It must’ve been a pretty significant stop on his journey if he worked there, even for a short time. Does anyone else think it's possible he shared his travel plans with someone he met at the farm? Maybe he even mentioned if he was considering changing his route to Salt Lake City instead of directly to Bend. I guess I’m just wondering if the farm might hold some overlooked key to what happened next for him. It seems like such an odd detail—especially leaving behind belongings—that something at that farm could be worth a second look. Curious to know what others think about this! Thanks, [Username]

Was anyone ever able to confirm if Randall left Idaho Falls by hitchhiking? I know it was supposedly how he planned to travel, but I’m curious if there were any other possible means of transportation he might have taken. Considering his disillusionment and prior time abroad, could he have decided to venture somewhere else entirely, maybe even internationally? I've seen cases where people just vanish because they wanted to start fresh somewhere. Nothing was ever mentioned about checking airports or bus stations, as far as I know. If he didn’t leave by the road, maybe someone back then caught sight of him elsewhere? Just a thought.
