Does anyone else find the boyfriend's story about leaving the apartment a bit off, especially given the severe storm that night? I mean, who decides it's a good idea to pull a boat out of the river with winds roaring at 70 mph? Could it be that whatever happened to Tyler happened during those crucial 20 minutes when he left the kids alone? It seems like the perfect window for something to go wrong. I know the authorities are leaning towards an abduction theory now, but with so many loose ends from the beginning, it’s hard not to reexamine these early details. Also, does anyone have insights into the boyfriend’s background? His behavior on that night is just one of the lingering questions I have about this case. Would love to hear if anyone else has dug into this angle!

I was just thinking about the fact that Tyler's case didn't get classified as a non-family abduction until later in the investigation. Does anyone else wonder if that might have been a missed opportunity in the crucial early days? We've all seen cases where time is of the essence, and I can't help but think that maybe if they'd followed that angle sooner, they might have had more luck. Also, I'm curious about the detail of the distinctive features Tyler had. Could these characteristics have been more publicized to help with identifying him if he was taken out of the area? If someone did take him, these features could have been noticeable to someone even years later. Thoughts?
