I was reading up on Nelson Edgar Leyva’s case today, and something that stands out to me is how much support his family needs from the community to find closure. It’s deeply frustrating to see the lack of witnesses or leads after all these years. I truly hope that by continually sharing his story, it might strike a chord with someone who remembers something—no matter how small it seems. We can’t let this tragedy fade into the background. Nelson’s family deserves answers, and keeping the conversation alive is so important to bring justice and peace. If anyone’s holding back information, now is the time to come forward. The smallest detail could be the key. Sending strength to his loved ones in these uncertain times.
