Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the location where Sheila Scott's remains were found, and it's really got me wondering. That pond on South Mingo—how many times do you think people walked by it over those five years without knowing what was there? It's chilling to think that her Expedition sat there, hidden away, with her inside all that time.
It makes me think about how small tips or sightings can be overlooked, especially when a missing person's car doesn't show up on anyone's radar for so long. I can’t help but feel for her children and family who had to live through years of uncertainty, hoping for any news at all. It's so necessary for people who were around the area back then—maybe someone noticed something odd or heard stories over the years—to come forward now that we know what happened there. Every bit of information might shed new light and help Sheila’s family get some long-overdue answers.
Does anyone else in the community have insights on how it might be possible to connect any leads from the area or past local happenings? It's never too late to help piece things together.
Let’s keep discussing and keeping this case in the spotlight. Sheila's family deserves the truth. ?
Has anyone else been following the case updates since Sheila's remains were found in 2011? I’ve been thinking a lot about the details surrounding the discovery and how it took a woman’s dog finding a foot to bring Sheila home. It’s just haunting to imagine her lying there for all those years within the city limits. Her family has been through such a long and difficult journey. It makes me wonder about the implications of how she ended up in that pond and how the vehicle got there unnoticed. It seems like someone must have gone to great lengths to hide it. Plus, the theory that Sheila might have known her killer hits really hard. Trust can be such a fragile thing. I can only hope that by spreading awareness, someone with crucial information steps forward to finally help Sheila’s family get the answers they deserve. If anyone has thoughts on this or anything they've read or heard that might help move this case forward, please share. The more eyes on this, the better.
