I've been thinking a lot about Olando Smith's case and how his family had mentioned he felt uneasy about his safety before his tragic death. It's just so chilling to realize he sensed something was wrong but couldn’t escape it. I can’t begin to imagine the pain his loved ones must be feeling knowing he had those fears. It makes you wonder, was there something more specific that concerned him, or was it just a general sense of being unsafe in the area? It really seems like community involvement could make such a huge difference here. Maybe there’s someone out there who saw something that seemed small or insignificant at the time but could actually be a huge clue. If you or anyone you know was near the Putnam Green Apartments around that time, please, even if it’s just a tiny piece of information, consider reaching out to the authorities. Every bit helps, and Olando deserves justice. Sending thoughts to his family and anyone else who’s been affected by this terrible crime. Stay safe, everyone.

It's truly devastating to read about Olando Smith's tragic death, and my heart goes out to his family who had to endure such an immense loss, especially after he had voiced his worries about his safety. It makes you wonder what might have been going on in his life that drove him to express those fears to his sister. Does anyone else think it’s important to consider whether he might have been threatened or had any altercations leading up to this? Given the surge in violent crimes in OKC that year, the environment must have been incredibly tense. I really hope that with time, someone with information will find the courage to come forward. Even the smallest detail might be the missing piece needed to bring some closure in Olando's case. If anyone in the community knows anything, your info is valuable! Let's keep this conversation going and support the efforts to solve his and other unsolved cases from that year.
