Hey all, I just came across the case of Jamie Martin Thornton and there’s something about it that really gets to me. Have any of you thought about how strange the reports of Jamie possibly being seen in New Jersey are? I mean, I get that these reports weren't verified, but they seem to have kept the hope alive for his poor mom. It makes me wonder how many other unverified sightings might be out there that didn't make it into the official reports.
Also, do we know if the authorities ever looked into these sightings properly? It was 1986 and I imagine cross-state collaboration was way harder back then. Just feels like if there was any chance Jamie survived and made it to Jersey, it could've deserved a lot more attention. Has anyone looked into those sightings of Jamie Martin Thornton in New Jersey after he vanished?
