Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Carla Beth Anderson’s case, especially that really odd detail about the fire in the swamp outside of town. Does anyone have more info on how common these kinds of fires were in the area around that time? It seems suspicious that a fire would draw someone out late at night, particularly if it was visible from a considerable distance or created a lot of smoke. Was it a known occurrence in Wadena back then, or could it have been something orchestrated to lure someone out? Also, the locked door is another perplexing twist. If Carla did indeed leave voluntarily, why lock the door from the outside? It’s details like these that make this case so frustrating. I’ve read that arson reports don’t mention anything unusual about the fire, but it still makes me wonder if anyone local might have noticed unusual activity that night leading up to Carla’s disappearance. Thoughts?

Has anyone else thought about the weird coincidence with the stolen Plymouth Horizon? I know it's a stretch, but we can't ignore that it disappeared the same night as Carla. What if she saw or heard something when she got home and it led to whoever took the car? Doesn't it seem like too big a coincidence for them not to be connected? Maybe the person who took the car could have seen Carla as some kind of witness? I wonder if the car showed up somewhere, in some other place, and what that could tell us. Or even if it was connected to the fire in the swamp area that night—like hiding evidence or something. I really hope investigators have dug into the possibility that these events aren't isolated. Thoughts, anyone?

I’ve been looking into Carla Beth Anderson’s disappearance, and one thing that really stands out to me is the stolen brown Plymouth Horizon. It went missing on the same night Carla disappeared, yet there seems to be no clarity on whether it's linked to her case or not. A stolen car feels like a major lead, but it seems to have hit a dead end. Has anyone seen any reports or updates on whether that car was spotted elsewhere? It's frustrating that such a potentially crucial detail seems to be just floating in limbo. Maybe someone out there witnessed something back in the day but didn’t connect it to Carla’s case. What does everyone else think about the car being a relevant clue here?
