Does anyone else find it peculiar that search dogs picked up Aaron's scent in multiple locations, not just near the river? I’ve been following this case for a while, and that detail has always struck me as odd. If Aaron had simply fallen into the water, wouldn't his scent have been confined to that area? It almost suggests that he might have wandered further than initially thought or that he was moved somehow. Maybe someone out there saw something unusual around that area back then and hasn't come forward yet. It’s so frustrating that there haven’t been any significant breakthroughs after all these years. I hope the age progression images will jog someone’s memory. Thoughts?
Just thinking about the scent trail the bloodhounds picked up when Aaron Anderson went missing. It's so strange how the dogs detected his scent by the Snake River but also in other areas. Could this mean he wandered further away from the initial search area? Or perhaps it indicates something more sinister, like someone taking him? I find it hard to believe he could have covered much ground on his own as a toddler. It's baffling, and I feel like this aspect of the case hasn't been explored enough. My heart goes out to his family—it's been so long without answers. I wonder if there are similar cases where scent was picked up in multiple locations and if those ever led to any breakthroughs. Anyone know more about how accurately scent dogs can track in such situations?
Has anyone else looked into how Aaron's case was managed back in the day? It's so frustrating that the initial investigation zoned in on the river theory almost immediately. I can't help but wonder what might have happened if they had considered other avenues right from the start. I've read about how crucial those first hours and days are, and it makes me think that the focus on the river might have caused them to miss some important clues elsewhere. I understand that Aaron's scent was picked up near the river, but given that it was also detected in other areas, shouldn't those spots have been thoroughly explored as well? I'm curious to hear other people's thoughts on how the investigation might have differed if there'd been a broader focus right from the onset.
