Aaron Anderson, a 22-month-old toddler, disappeared on April 7, 1989, while playing in the yard of his family’s home in Pine City, Minnesota. His mother, Paulette Anderson, had left him unsupervised for just a few minutes. The family home was located near the Snake River, leading authorities to initially focus on the theory that Aaron may have fallen into the river and drowned.
